"Apple has dropped the Financial Times' iPhone and iPad applications from its app store after the newspaper refused to hand over 30pc of its revenues and valuable customer data."
Apple might be moving its way into becoming a monopolized company.
They had ,using customer popularity as business leverage,to reap lots of profit from content provider.
This business model couldnt be lasted long, as Apple is robbing the content provider their share of revenue. There is opportunity for market imitator, HTC + Android, Google and HP, to fill the gap.
There are customer who choose FT because it is in Apple store. But there would be more customer to choose Apple because FT is in its store. If reading FT is a must for those business people, it costs almost nothing for them to have another handsets/handpads. if the competitor can do the same thing as iphone/ipad.
